GENEVA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

FESTIVAL TOUS ECRANS

31 October - 7 November 2013

Festival Tous Ecrans is a one-of-a-kind event in Europe. The festival, which covers audio-visual creation as a whole, offers a complete overview of the best films, television series and digital content of the moment, as well as providing state-of-the-art competition programs for each of these formats.

Since it was created in 1995, the festival has managed to federate cinema, television and digital screen audiences, providing them with the opportunity to come together in one place to celebrate the many facets of our contemporary audio-visual world.

Its main objective is to provide excitement, discovery and encounters between the public and professionals, while remaining at the cutting edge of the latest narrative trends. The 19th edition of Festival Tous Ecrans will again reflect the vibrancy of Swiss and international audio-visual creation through feature films, television series, short films, web documentaries, interactive works and transmedia projects. For the first time this year, the festival will be integrating a wholly professional aspect, Workflow, emphasising digital creation and televisual screenwriting.

Festival Tous Ecrans is a major event and is well attended by the media, professionals and the public. Today it is considered a not-to-be-missed annual cinematographic meeting place that enables each participant to follow or discover the latest audio-visual creations. For this reason, it enjoys strong support from public authorities in Switzerland and key partners in the private sector.
