Highrise, the monumental 2.0. fresco directed by the Canadian documentary filmmaker Katerina Cizek and produced by the National Film Board of Canada, is a project created over the span of the last 4 years that encompasses a series of web documentaries exploring interactivity.

Not only is Highrise an ambitious project about the suburban towers of Toronto and their inhabitants, it also articulates a deep reflexion upon society and urbanism.

This most recent project will be introduced by its creator during the festival. Out My Window questions the notion of community when trapped within verticality. How can we live together and create social bonds in a concrete and closed environment?
